Story
On Sunday 3rd September I will be running in the Wigan 10k to help raise money and awareness for a charity to help prevent childhood drowning.
A year ago today a family close to my brother and sister in law had to say goodbye to their 4 year old daughter who drowned whilst on holiday. The family have gone through what no parent should but with unbelievable courage and in her memory they have set up a charity to raise funds to educate, encourage and embody children with the skills and tools to allow them to be able to learn to swim from a very early age.
