Dear Friends, I want to thank you all so much for the support you have given up to now and may I give you again another opportunity to donate whatever you can to help in the health and education of the remarkable "slum school" in Nairobi's poorest district: Mukuru Outreach Academy Kenya. Last year we raised £3149 for this project which provided an education, meals and well being for one year for 54 children as well as books, uniforms, footballs, toilets, water, sanitation and other basic equipment for the whole school of 324 students. This year the head master Enock Obunga tells me they want to refresh this provision and support some of the most vulnerable, often orphaned and homeless children, to have a life saving chance to come off the streets and attend a safe and deeply caring school. Until now the teachers do not get paid a full salary but donate 4 months of their time per year for free. This is becoming unsustainable. They need:

£3000 for the 14 teachers missing salaries.

£1400 for beds and provision for class 8 students needing to sleep at school to prepare for the National exams.

£1000 for books, materials and basic equipment.

£600 for renovating the floors.

£400 for 1st aid kits and other medicines.
