Story

We are a group of 13, 16 year olds and we are all partaking in National Citizens Service. As part of our last two weeks of the summer programme we have chosen to base our social action project on raising awareness for KIP homeless shelter.

In the UK alone 83,000 people aged 16 to 25 need assistance for basic shelter. Homeless youth is a huge issue within the UK, and it's an issue we wish to try tackle.

This year a group of young people were brought together due to their participation in the National Citizenship Service (NCS) scheme and, shocked by the severity of the homeless youth population in British, decided that they wanted to help.

So we want to raise as much money as possible to buy our local homeless charity, Kip, supplies and bedding to help improve the lives of out local homeless youth whilst raising awareness.

So please give anything you can yo help us reach our goal of £100, and help change the lives of the homeless teens in our local area of Telford
