On Sunday 31 March 2019, I’ll be fighting at the “Road to Muay Thai Grand Prix” show at Scala Night Club, Kings Cross, London. I am donating all my fight money to Our Moon, an education charity based in Zambia.

Our Moon’s mission is to empower Zambia’s young people, through education and personal guidance, in order to bring about positive social change in one of the world’s poorest countries. They do this by providing a pre-university academic programme to carefully selected bright, but financially-disadvantaged youth in Zambia, and assisting them with scholarship applications to universities around the world. Only 28% of Zambians complete secondary school, and just 0.2% attend university - the third lowest in sub-Saharan Africa.

In early July 2019, I will also be visiting the Our Moon site in Zambia and taking part in a week-long walking and community impact expedition. The purpose of the walk is to raise funds for the development of the site where Our Moon hosts its educational programmes, with any remainder going directly to the Our Moon scholarship programme for 2019. We will be walking 100 km in 4 days and spending time with the Our Moon scholars and the local community that will benefit from the funds we raise.
