During a time when the world is heart breaking enough, last weekend we found out our beloved Dad, Tim Hoey unexpectedly passed away at the age of 47, leaving behind his 6 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

Due to the sudden and unexpected passing of our Dad, which was not related to Covid-19, we have set up this fundraising page to help us give our Dad the send off he deserves as we are unable to fund it all ourselves. I as his eldest daughter was put down as his Next of Kin, leaving myself and sisters, Aonie and Verity in charge of the arrangements with the help of family members. Any donations whether they be big or small will be greatly appreciated during this already extremely difficult time. If we reach the target set in place and further donations come in to exceed this target we will be splitting those extra donations across the incredible charities that have helped our Dad over the years.

The Story Of Our Beloved Dad, Tim Hoey.

Tim Hoey was born in Ipswich on the 6th of November 1972 and lived in Ipswich his whole life. He attended Kesgrave High School where he met some of his closest friends that continued to be loyal right until the end. After finishing High School he went onto college where he trained as a sous chef, my Dad was an amazing cook no one could ever top his roast dinners. From there he became a butcher at Sainsbury's where he was so loved by everyone and that is where he met my Mum, Lynne. From Sainsbury's my Dad then went on to become a taxi driver for many years where a lot of people will remember him from. After 9 years together and 1 Daughter, myself Lisa'Marie. My Mum and Dad went their separate ways but remained very close friends which was wonderful for me growing up. Whilst being a taxi driver my dad then met the Mother of my sisters, Kathy in 2000. He picked her up in his cab one night and took her home and asked for her number. The rest as they say was history. They went on to have 3 beautiful daughters together, Freya, Ria and Dalia as well as taking on Aonie and Verity as his own. He loved having such a big family. Kathy and our Dad married in 2015 and shared 16 years together. In recent years life wasn't the easiest for our Dad with his health but he always tried to make the best out of the cruel world around him. He had so much love to give and myself and my sisters are the lucky ones to feel that love the most, as well as his Grandchildren Cleo and Brody, close friends, his sister/bestfriend Claire and family.

Our Dad loved his music, especially Elvis Presley. He enjoyed gardening and cooking and loved all his weird and wonderful pets he had throughout his life. Through all walks of life our Dad touched so many hearts, he left a huge imprint behind. This was highlighted from all the wonderful messages we have received. thank you.

Above all else, the most important thing in this world to our Dad was his Daughters and Grandchildren, all he ever wanted was to be able to see us as much as he could. He was so looking forward to this lockdown being over and for all of us to be together again.
