Story
Play therapy has been considered to be an established and popular mode of therapy for children for over sixty years. However, funding is often unavailable to support the service that it is offered to children and young people. Toys, games and craft materials can be expensive and are an essential tool in play therapy. Many organisations and therapists rely on donations to help towards the cost of these.
Many of the children and young people lead complex lives and are struggling with mental health concerns and emotional well being. Many who may have suffered trauma or abuse. Play therapy provides a way for them to express their experiences and feelings through a natural, self-guided, self-healing process. As children’s experiences and knowledge are often communicated through play, it becomes an important vehicle for them to know and accept themselves and others. In order to offer a vital service to help these children and young people more funds are needed. Please help, by offering a donation and help me to support these children and young people, in order for them to heal and lead better lives. Thank you so much for your support, it will make a huge difference xx
