A final update: Earlier on today I transferred your donations to Pendle Nursery. After payment fees, there was £1,494.28 left, which I rounded up to £1,500. Lisa told me she will hold onto it until the insurance has paid out, then she'll buy something for all the children to enjoy - and maybe a little something to say thank you to her staff who gave up their weekend to clear up in time for reopening the Monday after. Hello everyone. Once again thank you so much for your donation. The funds have just become available for withdrawal, so I've set that ball rolling. Just Giving will deduct 2.9% of the total + 25p per donation in payment processing fees before sending me what's left (around £1,500 by my calculations) in 4-6 days time. Thank you everyone for your very kind and generous donations. I really didn't think we'd raise so much, and the staff at Pendle Nursery are overwhelmed by the response they've received. While JustGiving don't charge anything for the platform itself, they do take payment charges from donations, which means that the actual total is a little less than it shows. They also hold the funds for 2 weeks before releasing it. Without this platform though, I doubt we would have raised as much. I'll update you again once the funds have cleared. Thanks.
