Weʼve raised £985 to Allow my Sister, Katrina to have a makeover photo shoot so that people can be reminded of how she was before she became ill with cancer

Story
My Sister was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago and after a long struggle with chemotherapy she battled and won. She now has skin cancer and cancer in her other breast and has been given only a short time left with us. She is the strongest person I know and has stayed positive throughout all of her pain and illness and has put on a happy smile for everyone else to prevent them from being upset.
I asked her to write a bucket list which just like her is very humble and she hasn't asked for a lot. The one thing off her list that I would love to do for her is to arrange for her to have a make-over photo shoot so that people can remember how she used to look before she got ill. I just want to give her a chance to feel great about herself before she leaves us.

6 years agoI just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that contributed towards Katrina’s bucket list photo shoot. We had a lovely couple of days spending some quality time with each other which we haven’t done for ages and her photo shoot experience was awesome. Just got the pics back and we’re very pleased with them 😊👍🏻 X

6 years agoWell the support received has been phenomenal! I am totally blown away by everyone’s kindness. I can’t thank you all enough. The photo shoot will be at a place called The Dolls House in Birmingham who do incredible work. They will pamper Katrina and create some amazing photo’s for her and make her feel beautiful. The photo shoot is £500 so with the amount raised we will be able to stay over for the night and will give me a chance to spend some quality time with my Sister x
