Story
"Priory Woods School and Arts College is an all age community special school situated in east Middlesbrough. The school provides a quality, inclusive education for pupils with severe learning difficulties and those with profound and multiple needs."
Recently, Priory Woods School was victim to two burglaries in one week, with thousands of pounds worth of equipment being stolen. The equipment is used by children who cannot speak as their only means of communication, taking this independence from them is horrendously cruel.
I am going to abseil from the (Middlesbrough) Transporter Bridge on the 22nd of July, with two goals in mind. Firstly, I'd like to raise as much money as possible through sponsorship to donate to Priory Woods so they can make a start at replacing what was taken. Secondly, I hope to raise awareness about the thefts and therefore aid the possibility of the equipment being returned.
