On the 15th of August 2018, the day after her 38th birthday, our beautiful Rachel passed away after a sudden and unexpected illness.

Rachel lived life to the full, she was a free spirit who loved to travel, write poetry and spend time in the company of her family and friends. She was an inspiration to all, especially to the children she taught at Townhill Community School, Swansea. Her family, especially her Mam Andrea were extremely comforted by the floral tributes and messages of support from the parents and pupils at the school, they were also moved to see so many of Rachel`s colleagues attending the funeral in their matching, Sponge Bob, "Best Friends Forever" Shirts. These kind gestures made us all realise just how loved Rachel was in her school.

At the funeral donations were requested in lieu of flowers, to be put towards a memorial bench or piece of equipment for the school, Rachel`s memory could then be kept alive and she could continue to bring pleasure to the pupils and colleagues she adored. Unfortunately, due to the sadness and confusion her family felt at that time no clear arrangements were made for people to donate, hence this page. Please feel free to give whatever you want to build a little memorial to a little lady with a huge heart.
