My application to volunteer with Baby Watoto has been accepted and approved. For a few years now I have been sponsoring a child through their organisation and helped pay for her education, food and medical expenses.

I have a passion for children's work, being a qualified early years practitioner. I wish to share my skills and knowledge with those who are less fortunate. Charity work has always been a big thing for me, especially those that involve children. I have different activities in mind which I want to share whilst over there, helping boost/support the children's development. I also plan to do some sensory activities with them, to support and encourage positive relationships and positive mental health since a lot of these children have been rescued and faced past traumas.

I will be part of a Global team and will travel to Kampala, Uganda to help volunteer with Baby Watoto. However in order for me to do this I am required to raise $1000 USD. With this money I am able to carry out projects whilst over there. The activities can include painting, building or even simply helping out at the babies home changing nappies, taking the babies for walks or assisting the nannies with the babies’ day to day activities.

The money raised will NOT pay for my personal expenses, it will be 100% support for my project and charity. My personal expense has been paid for out of my own pocket.
