Story
Rhys sadly passed away on Friday 27th October 2017, aged 31 at Charing Cross Hospital, London.
Rhys was the most determined, loving and positive person we knew. It is now our aim to raise as much money as possible which will be passed on to chosen charities (TBC) to help raise awareness, research and fight Rhys' rare illness.
This page has been created as a place for friends/family to leave any message of condolence they wish and to also make a donation that will be passed on by Rhys' family to the chosen charities (TBC).
Rhys will be forever missed however this money can be used to create a legacy that Rhys would be proud of.

6 years agoThroughout the months of May & June 2018 Rory Budina decided to embark on a different fitness challenge every weekend to raise money for the Rhys Gould Memorial Fund. The penultimate fitness challenge is a 100 Mile Bike Ride this Saturday. With minimal training, Robert and I have stupidly agreed to ride with Rory to help support him through another gruelling challenge. We are so close to hitting £18,000 in Rhys' memory and we would appreciate any sponsorship in this mammoth challenge.

7 years agoIn addition to the Just Giving page, Llantwit Major AFC are holding a Memorial Day in honour of Rhys. Players past and present will play in a game at Windmill Lane on Saturday 16th December from 2pm. Following the game there will be refreshments in the clubhouse, an auction and a raffle to raise money for Rhys’ charity (TBC). We would like to invite friends and family to join us in remembering and celebrating Rhys’ life. We hope to see you there.
