The Roots Foundation Wales is a charity that helps, supports children and young adults who are in the care system through no fault of their own. They support them with every aspect of life ensuring all of them that people do really care. Embedding the knowledge of how special they really all are and developing everyone to their full potential in Life. x

Luckily I was given the Opportunity to work with an amazing group of individuals on the DIY SOS Big build for Children in Need. This involved us giving Emma and her team a new building where the community can support and ensure that this amazing charity can help everyone and future generations for decades to come.

It took 11 days and nights with 900 tradesmen and women to deliver this amazing project for the foundation but as any charity it needs to be sustainable. This is where fundraising is so important to keep such an amazing charity developing and supporting every member of our communities.

So to make a difference I'm running NEW YORK Marathon on 5th November 2017 for The Roots Foundation. As runner I have fundraised multiple marathons for various charities but find this one close to my Heart after being part of the amazing DIY SOS Team!
