High Legh Pre-school has been an essential charitable organisation based in the small semi-rural village of High Legh for the last 46 years.

In 2017, after 10 happy and successful years based in one of the classrooms of our local primary school we were told the devastating news that we had to leave due to rising school numbers and our future became uncertain.

With the help of numerous individuals and organisations within our local community, we were able to run from the Village Hall whilst we pursued our own premises.

After a very lengthy and costly planning permission process, we have finally secured a beautiful bungalow with fantastic outdoor provision.

We are working hard to open soon and are undertaking works both outdoor and indoor at the property to fully ensure that all areas are very safe for the children who will be in our care.

A significant cost in setting up safely is fire equipment so as a charity preschool, who have limited funds and a small number of parents to help fundraise, we are appealing to the wider community.

We need to raise £3500 for emergency lighting and fire fighting equipment that we hope we will never need to use but is required to fulfill building regulations.

It would be heart-breaking to run out of funds when we have worked so hard to get to this point.
