Story

My brother Lionel “Rugie” Forbes had Multiple Sclerosis and lung cancer. In January 2017 we had to move him into a care home, knowing he would spend the rest of his life there. In the last few months of his life he could barely move and spent most of his time laying in pain in his room, then on Tuesday 27th June 2017 my brother died from pneumonia.

Although he was insured, had life assurance and a funeral fund it is proving quite difficult to get these funds released in time to pay for his funeral which is happening this month 17th July so we are trying to raise as much as possible to pay the £7000 deposit requested by the funeral service.

Any sum will be gladly accepted and your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Ruggie was a warm hearted person whom was much loved. His memory will live on in our hearts. I'm so glad he gave his heart to the Lord before he left us. He's gone home to glory. RIP Ruggie!
