Inna Lillahi wa innah Ilayhi rajiun.

Sadly my beautiful Nani grandmother passed away in the beautiful month of Ramadan. She was the most loving, happy, beautiful and positive person I've ever known. She taught me and so many others many many things. She was so passionate about spreading the goodness of Islam and teaching anyone and everyone about Islam. She always had time for you. She was loved by all who knew her and all who met her instantly fell in love. Hardship never weakened her. An inspiration to all.

One of her wishes in life was to build a mosque in her tiny village in Bangladesh to provide a place of worship and education. She was a woman of such love and character. Her mission to spread dawah and to educate us all was so passionate and she would be so proud that the completion of this masjid in her little village will be bringing people closer to Allah and educating everyone on Islam. When a person passes away in Islam, it's not the end for them and we want to do everything we can so she has those mountains of good deeds as she deserves InshaAllah.

I have the most amazing opportunity to also be travelling to Bangladesh in August 2018 in order to get the works started.

Our beloved nani has passed away in the early hours of Sunday 20th May.

May Allah swt grant her eternal peace. Elevate her to the highest of Jannah al Ferdous and make her temporary rest place the Qabr and Barzakh filled with noorala noor.

We pray for Allah SWT to grant patience to all the family during this difficult time.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعَافِهِ، وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدْ، وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَما نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبُ الأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَاراً خَيْراً

اَللّٰھُمَّ اغْفِرْلَهُ وَ ارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ فِی الْمَھْدِیِّیْنَ وَ اخْلُفْهُ فِیْ عَقِبِهِ فِی الْغَابِرِیْنَ وَ اغْفِرْلَنَا وَلَهُ یَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ وَ افْسَحْ لَهُ فِیْ قَبْرِهِ وَ نَوِّرْ لَهُ فِیْهِ۔

O Allah, forgive her and have mercy on her and give her strength and pardon her. Be generous with her and cause her entrance to be wide and wash her with water and snow and hail. Cleanse her of her transgressions as white cloth is cleansed of stains. Give her an abode better than her home, and a family better than her family and a spouse better than her spouse Take her into Paradise and protect her from the punishment of the grave (and from the punishment of Hell-fire).
