Hi, I'm Sam Parker and, as you can see from the photo, my step mother is Kate from the Boldmere Bullets Running Collective. I'm 12 years old and I've got a big challenge ahead that you might be able to help me with......

I've got to raise £1700 to fund an adventure trip to Norway with my schoolmates in July 2018. We are going to trek, camp, kayak and climb our way around Norway with only local guides to help us.

Here's what I'm doing to try to raise some donations. It's 890 miles from Birmingham to Kristiansand on the southern tip of Norway. I'm planning to do a virtual run ALL THE WAY TO NORWAY!!! Not all in one go of course! I'm going to complete the 890 miles of running over the next 17 months. That's over TWO MARATHONS worth of mileage per month for the next 17 months (remember I'm only 12!).

You can follow my progress on Strava (message Kate on Facebook and she'll give you my Strava name) and see how I'm doing. All encouraging comments and kudos are welcome.

If all the runners and cyclists in the Bullets gave me just £1 then I'll be more than halfway there. If you could be kind and generous enough to donate me a pound (or two!) then it would really help me achieve my goal.
