This is my wonderful Nephew Archie :-)

I am running an Ultra race called Race to the Stones to raise money for Norfolk SEN Network. The 100km (62 miles) race is on a trail path which is celebrated as Britain’s oldest path, the route follows the historic trail past Wayland’s Smithy, Uffington White Horse and Barbury Castle before reaching the iconic ancient Stone Circle at Avebury. It will certainly be my biggest challenge to date! I have been running just over a year but more seriously over the last 6 months. I am committed to training and working hard to raise money for this wonderful charity.

Norfolk SEN Network have been a god send to my Sister Laura and her partner Darren. Their Son and my beautiful nephew Archie has complex needs and Norfolk SEN supported my sister all the way through her tribunal case to get Archie into the School he needs to be in. They went through all the paperwork with her, represented them in court and was in communication between solicitors and the Court. They took all the stress away, there was always someone at the end of the phone for her when she needed support and she could not have done it without them.

I feel so strongly about being able to give back to this wonderful charity as I felt totally helpless when my sister and her family were going through this as I felt like I couldn’t help or do anything proactive to help them. Me and my family will feel eternally grateful to them for the support they have given my sister.
