Kingston Kayak Clubs Junior Canoe Polo Team have been invited to play in the inaugural Junior International Championships this August in Belfast.
Some of the kit the team currently uses has come the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. So we need your help to raise funds to buy the team of up to seven players new boats, paddles, spraydecks, buoyancy aids and helmets as well transport etc to get there.
At present the team train twice weekly and previously competed in both a national and regional youth league, which they won on a number of occasions. Since these folded they have joined the Yorkshire Division Three Open league playing against adults. At present they are third in the league.
It is a great honour to be invited to represent the region/country in this once in a lifetime opportunity playing against such countries as USA, New Zealand, Poland France, Italy, Spain and Germany.
