Story

St Andrews School PTA's aim is to fundraise money to help enrich children's lives at school. This is done in numerous ways, by putting on events, fundraising for playground upgrades, panto plays, new screens and much more. This year is no different, we are helping replace and upgrade books in the reading scheme and are supplying new resources for wet play in all classrooms...but that's just the start!

This year has been a little different and we wanted to do something fun and inclusive in place of events that can't take place. Throughout everything we have been able to get outside and walk, enjoy the fresh air an appreciate our surroundings!

Throughout November children will be adding up the km's they run during PE to 'Journey to Lapland' additional KM's can be added by running and walking at home. Every step counts! Please consider sponsoring us and helping St Andrews PTA raise money.

Congratulations....we made it!!! Mr Harrison and Reverend Eleanor are already checking out the reindeer! With 11 days to go we've travelled more than the 2944km...as of today we've covered 3674 Km...that's only 536 Km short of the North Pole - you can keep adding distances and see if we can make it there by the 4th... but for now its time to collect those sponsors...the easiest way to do it is by using the link! An amazing amount of walking again! We've travelled 2648KM and only have 296KM to go before we reach Lapland!! We've seen lots of new walkers adding to the distance this weekend including Eliza, Leo, Isaac, Callum and Jack. Rosa walked 15km this weekend whilst Leo added 60km, Evie and Jacob walked 13.5 KM and both Dragonflies and Homerton added distance in school last week! We're almost there!!!
