As a school we have recently been shaken by the news that one of our pupils is seriously ill and after investigative appointments an area of concern was found on his brain. He has been treated at Birmingham Children’s hospital and has undergone intensive surgery, which I am really pleased to tell you went well. He is due to fly out to America where he will receive further treatment for his condition and we are hoping he will return back to school in October.
The staff are going to take part in a sponsored sleepover at school on Thursday 20th July and are aiming to raise money to support the whole family during this very difficult time. The money raised will go towards giving the whole family a fun experience that they can look forward to when they return to England and also to Birmingham Children’s Hospital who have cared for our little chap so well.
