Our wonderful son Stanley, age, 8 has a severe nut allergy. He has suffered, being treated as a burden & with recurrent failings in duty of care was driven from school & has been homeschooled since November 2017! After blowing the whistle to Ofsted, Dfe MPs & Secretary of State to raise serious concerns in the safeguarding of children with Allergies & other medical conditions the Heads of the school & Stanley's teacher decided to close ranks to cover up what they had done. Their priority was to limit damage to their reputation at all costs, at the expense of the emotional wellbeing of children involved.

WE ARE RAISING FUNDS TO BRING THE FIRST CASE IN THE UK OF DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION TO TRIBUNAL IN DIRECT RELATION TO STANLEYS NUT ALLERGY.

Basically, we urgently need to raise funds to help Stanley & to bring a disability discrimination case, directly related to Stanley's NUT Allergy, to tribunal. This needs to be lodged before 24th May this year so we have hardly any time to get here! Our legal backing states we have a good case to prove the Heads, Stanley's teacher & the LEA failed Stanley, failed to follow any policy or care plan & failed to audit any process involved. We cannot fight this alone.

Win or lose, this case could still have a significant effect on the way Children with Allergies are cared for via awareness. We can't accept this anymore, what Stanley and other children have suffered is, at best: negligence & at worst child abuse at the hand of those who are meant to demonstrate 'locis parentis' whilst at school. We were treated as a nuisance and a burden. Many families of allergy kids will tell you exactly the same! We are left to fight alone, we are left to educate schools because no one else does!
