When i went into labour with Teddy at 30 weeks. I didnt have a clue what would happen to my baby. The crash team from NICU came into my delivery room and doctors (NOT NICU doctors) told me in labour the chance of survival for Teddy is very low. However, Teddy triumphed through delivery and as he came out without being able to take a breath the NICU team took him straight onto their machinery to put him on a ventilator. The doctor stablised Teddy in the room long enough to get him round to NICU. He went to NICU with nothing, no nappies, blanket or any essentials. NICU provided all of that for Teddy.

During Teddys 13 days in NICU those nurses and doctors did everything they could for my little boy & even in those last few hours of his life they still tried all they could and never gave up hope.

This money we raise is for the unit so they can continue to provide nappies, blankets and cleaning essentials for the poorly babies & to show how grateful we are as a family for giving my baby 13 days with us and being able to make some really precious memories that we will cherish forever.
