Weʼve raised £500 to Naomi House Children's Hospice

Funded on Wednesday, 30th June 2021

    Story

My name is Yvette and alongside my school job I am an Usborne Independent Book Organiser. I absolutely love books and have a real passion to get them into childrens hands.
For me Naomi House is somewhere I love as much as books as I was privileged enough to work here and see how fantastic everyone at this hospice helps not only the children in respite but the families too.
This is why I want to give something back and be able to treat the children who stay at Naomi to books and jigsaws to keep them entertained whilst they stay here. My original goal was to reach £250 this was done in the first day!! Then i popped it up to £500 with the hope we could reach somewhere near that and now this has been done soooo I will be leaving this open to keep fundraising as much as we can for this amazing hospice!!

For as little at £5.99 would get the children a magic painting book. There are over 3000 books that can be chosen for the hospice.
With your help I am hoping to reach this balance by Easter time and put some smiles on the children and families faces.

I want to help Naomi House as much as possible so I set up this fundraiser. I used to be a carer at this fab hospice many years ago and it is still close to my heart. Nowadays I work at a school and I am also a Usborne book organiser helping to get books into children's hands.
