At the end of last year (30 December) our great friend Graham (affectionately known as Chill or Chilly) was suddenly, unexpectedly and tragically taken from us. Chill was a big part of many people's lives and made friends easily with his relaxed and approachable personality. Away from his family Golf was his main leisure pastime and he spent a large part of his life as an active member of Prudhoe Golf Club. Although many of us will always have him in our hearts and continue to reminisce of fun times in his company, it would be fitting to have a permanent and lasting tribute to such a great friend and man. Graham himself was a truly generous and charitable man who gave up time to help others less fortunate.
It is to this end that we seek to plant a copse of oak trees on Prudhoe Golf Course which will be named in his honour. Furthermore, we will have a Golf day in his name which will run annually. We are looking at dates in June for the inaugural event.
I ask you to help me realise this ambition for a wonderful guy by making a donation of any amount you can spare.
