My father in law died from cancer a few years ago. My mother in law had a memorial bench built near Nidd Gorge to remember him by.
This bench was completely destroyed by vandals on 2.5.21. It broke my mother in laws heart, he was such a great man and deserves better.
I'm hoping to raise enough funds to get the bench replaced.

3 years agoHello, just wanted to post an update to say a heartfelt thank you to you all for your help and support. We have enough to replace the bench, and any left over funds are going to be donated to St Michaels Hospice in Harrogate, and Macmillan Cancer Research for the support they gave my father in law during his final months.
