I'm doing this once and once only - I'm running (or attempting) the Birmingham Half Marathon on Sunday 15th October in memory of my beautiful friend Allyson who sadly lost her battle with cancer just over a year ago. She battled very bravely for 3 years and in that time had numerous visits to the oncology department at George Eliot hospital where the staff looking after her were both caring and compassionate. Hospital shortages meant there wasn't always enough fans available to patients having treatment so I would like to raise some money in memory of this courageous lady and hopefully raise enough money to buy them a couple of dyson fans
