I am running another marathon to raise money for much needed neuroblastoma research in Ireland. Nearly 70% of children diagnosed with Neuroblastoma are already at the advanced stage 4, and the statistics have shown no real improvement in the last 15 years.

Currently there is no sustained program for research into Neuroblastoma in Ireland - yet.

I am raising money for a family who lost their son and who have set up this foundation to secure continuous annual funding for Neuroblastoma research in Ireland. With funding the family want to help develop a Neuroblastoma research consortium to link with international research groups and collaborations.

Hopefully with this this funding and continued research we will see improved treatment options and better prognosis for children and families faced with a neuroblastoma diagnosis.
