Story
Tony was sadly taken in 2017 after a brave battle with bowel cancer. One of Tony's favourite places was the East coast of England, in his memory Lee (his son) along with friends (Gavin & Gareth Rimmington, Paul Marsh, Carl Steer, Ian Bagshaw, Ian Wheeler, and Craig Chambers) are going to spend 3 days (28th - 30th July 2017) walking over 60 miles from Whitby to Bridlington via Scarborough and Filey. The only walking Lee and the guys do is either on a golf course or between pubs, 60 miles in three days is a bit of a challenge.
The aim of the walk is to raise awareness and funds for Bowel Cancer U.K. The research this charity carries out aims to transform bowel cancer survival rates - See more at: www.bowelcanceruk.org.uk
I'm sure at the end of each day there will be time to raise a pint to Tony, reminisce and maybe have the odd game of pool again another of Tony's hobbies.
Lee and the team would welcome all donations no matter how small. We really appreciate you taking the time to read this page.

Having played football with Wheeler for several years, I can appreciate that any movement over a distance greater than 10yds is worthy of a little sponsorship!
