Our team, 'HMCA', are competing in the 2018 Great Knaresborough Bed Race to raise funds for the Harrogate & Knaresborough Toy Library charity. The 6 team members are: Nicky Procter, Debbie Elder, Paul Walsh, Mark Swift, Mikey Wilson, and Lorraine Bradley.

The Harrogate & Knaresborough Toy Library provide friendly Indoor and Outdoor Play Sessions with a difference; Toy Loan and Party Equipment Hire to anyone with young children.

For those that don't know, the Great Knaresborough Bed Race is something different: it is part fancy dress pageant and part gruelling time trial over a 2.4 mile course, ending with a swim through the icy waters of the River Nidd.

We aren't trying to set any records with our running, but we do want to create a great theme for our bed to play a full part in the spectacle that is the Great Knaresborough Bed Race. Most of all we want to raise some funds for an excellent cause that supports the local community of Knaresborough.
