Lorna mentioned that the staff at nursery want to have an extra-special day out (probably hiring a boat for an afternoon river cruise) to celebrate their recent Ofsted 'outstanding' rating, but that (as well as wanting to wait until after Ramadan) some colleagues will need to save up over a few pay packets to be able to afford it. We thought that those of us whose kids are leaving preschool this summer, and who might therefore spend a bit of money on thank-you presents for nursery staff then, might want instead to give it early so they can enjoy their party without money worries. If you'd like to do this, please give whatever amount you'd like to/can afford to via this page.
