    Story

The Bumble workshops is a 6 weeks programme for young people in Manchester whose families dont have much money.

The young people who will be invited to join the 6 weeks programme will be young people ages 5 to 16 years old from deprived areas in Manchester.

The summer programme will run from the first week of July in 2019 and finish in the middle of August 2019. The workshops will run each week. There will be two sessions one for ages 5 to 10 years old and another for 11 to 16 year olds.

The 6 week workshops will be ran by myself and other experienced youth workers. We will carefully design a mixture of fun activities that will give the young people something positive and exciting to look forward to each week.

I understand that the 6 weeks holiday can be a struggle for the more deprived families in Manchester and that is why I have created a free and fun programme for the young people who don't have much to do during the 6 weeks holidays.

There are 100s of young people in Manchester alone who are living in poverty and i believe that it's important that all children should have a childhood.

At the moment I am trying to get as much support as posible to trial these workshops out in 4 of Manchester's most deprived areas.
