Story
Just a couple of months ago I lost my Father In Law to a heart attack. Despite brave attempts to treat him over the following week he sadly wasn't strong enough to keep fighting and passed away on 2nd April. In memorial a project was set up to raise funds for a community defibrillator in his home town which I will be using as my inspiration to take on this challenge.
On Saturday 16th June 2018 I will be taking part in a 12 hour run whereby the aim is to complete as many 5 mile loops as possible in the time limit. As well as being by far the longest I have ever run, the race will start at midday meaning a number of those long hours will be spent in the darkness. I'm currently training hard and working towards a 50 mile target within those 12 hours.
With the British Heart Foundation also benefiting from half of any funds raised from my participation in this event I would be extremely grateful for any sponsorship you are able to afford and I know both charities will be too.
Thank you so much for all your support.
