Celebrate Calais’ new Winston Churchill statue and support a great cause!
On 24th June, to mark the unveiling the statue, the British Ambassador and Sir Nicholas Soames will be going up to Calais to be welcomed by the Mayor….
….and so will a dozen plucky Riders!!
The Riders will be cycling from Rouen to Calais over 2 days… to arrive in time for the unveiling! 230km of fun, team-spirit and maybe a drop of sweat!
And all for a great cause:
CFPE - Les Enfants Disparus works with families in cases of runaways, parental child abductions in France or abroad, suspicious disappearances of minors and young adults under 25. The 116 000 hotline is there to provide a sympathetic ear and support to the families of missing children.
We are aiming to raise £10 for each kilometer we ride to raise a total of £2300 to help Les Enfants Disparus continue their important work supporting families and young people in trouble.
