The Roots Foundation Wales is a volunteer led organisation based in Swansea which provides a postive support network to young people in care, kinship care and care leavers. We aim to offer a bespoke and holistic service to our clients, ensuring that we encourage and empower individuals to positively participate within society and gain new skills, experiences and abilities as a result of our involvement. We can tailor our support to suit our clients needs, taking into consideration factors that maybe barriers to participation, working sensitively and at the clients chosen pace at all times.

Staff and volunteers will attempt to walk the Welsh three peaks challenge. This task will involve walking three mountains in 1 day. Snowdon in the North of Wales, Cadiar Idris in Mid Wales and Pen y Fan in South Wales. A total of 17 miles (27.4KM) will be walked, ascending 1500M and be completed within 24 hours.
