As most of you know, I help to run a local youth club in Atherton with two very dear people, Aaron and Laurie Shaw. Aaron and Laurie have been running a local youth club in Atherton for well over 10 years and a lot of children have enjoyed their care on a Friday evening. Sadly, Laurie passed away suddenly on Monday evening leaving Aaron totally devastated. To add to his grief, the costs of the funeral are over £2,000. Sadly, because of their ill health, neither Aaron or Laurie could afford health/life insurance which means that this is another blow for Aaron at such a sad time. I have set up this page to try and raise some money to help Aaron towards the cost of the funeral. Laurie gave so much to others during her lifetime and it would be nice if we could give something back. Thank you xx
