Help provide the best possible quality of life for Noah. His future inevitably will require a visit to the USA where the specialist for Gemin5 resides but at present providing mobility aids, a safe garden, etc will help with life quality & go towards a normal fun childhood that every toddler deserves! Noah is 3 years old & in 2021 was diagnosed with Gemin5, a rare degenrative condition with no current cure. This effects Noah’s walking, balance, fine motor skills & communication. Noah is non-verbal but his wonderful family are learning Makaton & Noah is picking up the signs well, the 1st being cake!

Noah was always clumsy & not hitting mile stones. He was playing & fell, never cried but was reluctant to walk. A&E confirmed a toddler fracture. An MRI was the beginning of his diagnosis. Many Genetics, physiotherapy, speach and language, consultant & neurology appointments are the norm now. Noah is the happiest boy he loves playing in the garden with his bubbles, reading, cooking, eating he is a real foodie and loves animals & his biggest passion BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!

Noah falls & hurts himself so very easily therefore standard things that little children enjoy are difficult for him. Noah has a special needs push chair & walker to help him stop falling over although many places don’t accommodate these mobility aids well.
