On Sunday the 15th of October, my oldest brother Chris and myself will be taking part in The Great West Run which is held in Exeter. We will be raising money for The London Air Ambulance service and also will be running in memory of our late brother Dan.
The men and women of the London air ambulance provide a priceless service, they deliver pre-hospital care for people who have sustained serious injury with the hope that they can prevent death or life long disability. Ultimately, they work hard to give the injured person the best chance of survival. On January 19th 2016, the trauma doctors and paramedics gave our brother the best possible treatment. Unfortunately, they were unable to save Daniel due to the injury he sustained but I am truly grateful for the service that they provide as he was receiving the best possible care at the end.
