Last October we visited Ward 31 after being invited by the amazing Cat, who works on the ward.

We then raised funds to buy Christmas presents for a Christmas visit, but we raised so much that we ended up with presents for children on other wards, equipment for the ward to create their own raves, with sound system, lighting and even their own bubble machine! A firm favourite.

We've been visiting Ward 31 ever since, with crafts, music, stories, and creating trays for children who were too unwell to join us and filling them with various goodies to help cheer them up. What ever we raise will go towards getting plenty of fun things to do on the ward for Christmas. Any funds that remain after will be spent on any play equipment needed on the ward.

We want to dedicate this project to the young man pictured above, Fletcher. He was one of the first children we met on the ward and we took a huge shining to him. Full of character and cheek! He sadly passed away this year and his family set up a legacy for Fletcher... Fletchers Fund and we hope to raise more than we need so we can also donate to Fletchers Fund too.
