Weʼve raised £250 to help fund a new project for Warminster Angling Club to set up a new project to teach young people how to catch and carefully handle fish.

Story
We have created this fund in memory of Stanley James Curtis who sadly passed away on Friday 8th June. He was the last founder member of the Warminster Angling Club and we wish this project to be his legacy.
It is intended to raise awareness of fishing to the younger generation and provide coaching sessions to teach them how to fish and appropriately handle the fish they catch.
These young people are the future of this sport and unless they are encouraged and properly taught to fish the sport will fall into disrepute and die out.
