My name is Yasmin Sales and myself and my friend Isabel Brailsford alongside some other pupils from Swanwick Hall School are raising money to go to Cambodia to help the Orphans by making their surroundings better by painting buildings for them , learning them English , playing games and setting up activities . We will be trying to help them to learn to have a better life and make their surroundings as happy as it can be.
This will be a massive opportunity that myself and Isabel will have to see how the less vunerable children live , as it's one of the poorest countries and how we can find ways of improving them , so we will learn valuable lessons such as problem solving, learning with our emotions, work ethic , learning different languages , learn what's it's like without technology .
We feel it will really help us to realize what we have and go on to help the less vunerable in our own country.
We have to raise £1800 each and we have done lots of activities from cake selling , dads Zumba , bike rides and people running for us with lots of other activities planned ..
