Hi my name is Yvonne Henchliffe I have organised a charity event in memory of my beautiful son and ex chesterfield soldier Chris Henchliffe.

Our campaign Stay cute and dilute are raising money for the royal hallamshire neuro care. and the British Legion.
We aim to raise awareness of alcohol fuelled violence.

We are having a family fun day at the olde house Newbold chesterfield on August 27th. where the main day event will be strong man simon plant pulling spire limousines 8 ton party bus. And in the evening a sponsored firewalk (walking on hot coals )
As well as music stalls raffles face painting etc.

The August event is a way of giving back to the royal hallamshire neuro care and the British Legion. Neuro care is where Chris was expertly and beautifully cared for till he passed away. They see so many alcohol fuelled brain injuries . And one punch kills like what happened to Chris. The boy in the bed next to Chris was in there in similar circumstances but he did come out of his coma although it would be a long road ahead. Chris didn't.
Stay cute and one punch are desperate to raise awareness. how? We're not sure but the charity event/ fun day seemed like a good start.
We will be handing out free soft drinks throughout . And I hopefully will have a chat to the people there to explain what we are about.
The British Legion look after veterans young and old and attended Chris funeral. They did him proud xx
