Story
We're inviting you to donate £8, for our fundraiser for Zeph's 8th birthday, which we're celebrating on the 8th of December. (That's a lot of eights!)
I can't believe our boy would be eight years old, can't believe that so much time has passed, and I find myself wondering how we'd be celebrating if he were here...
Zephyr died on his due date, eight years ago, and was born, stillborn at 1.25pm on Sunday 8th December 2013. I miss him so much, and will always love him dearly. He changed our lives, he made his dad and I parents, he is a much-loved brother to our living son, and will always be a part of our family.
Not only is it Zeph's birthday, but last week we announced our latest news, that we are setting up "Zephyr's" as an independent Charity!
Our project supports bereaved families, who, much as we did 8 years ago, find themselves trying to fathom a way forwards beyond the life of their baby or child.
We're really excited to be growing and developing into a charity within our own right, and now, more than ever, we'd really welcome your support!
Helping us right now, will help us to carry on offering support while we complete our charity application, your donation will help us to re-establish face to face sessions (in the new year), with your support we will continue our online zoom drops ins, and you're also enabling us to print lots of new literature too (we need to replace all of our old leaflets)
x Thank you x

3 years agoDearest friends, supporters, and anonymous donors. Your continued support is leaving us speechless! We feel so very humbled to have raised almost £2000... Thank you so much. We're really excited for the new year ahead, and the new ways we will begin to develop our services for bereaved families, and we're so very really grateful for your part in that, by giving to mark our boy's 8th birthday. Gentle festive wishes to you all, and our deepest thanks, Carly, Martin, and our Zephyr's team x
