Most of you have probably heard about the terrible events currently unfolding in Nepal and the desperate situation of thousands who live there. In 2011 I spent a month in the Annapurna region of the country and fell in love with the people there, who despite being poor were incredibly friendly and welcoming. This region, like many others in the country, has been decimated by the effects of this earthquake, and desperately needs our help.

For that reason I will be taking part in the TEN in TEN in TEN 4 Nepal event in the Peak District on the 16^th of this month. The event aims for the entrants to climb 10 routes spread out over 10 miles of hiking, in 10 hours. We have decided to double this to 20 routes over the ten miles!
