Last September we completed the Taff Trail Cycle Challenge, raising funds for the   Tŷ Hafan family hospice charity.

On Sunday 5th September 2010, we again cycled the Taff Trail route from Brecon to Cardiff. However, to make things a bit more ‘interesting’ and to add an extra challenge, we began our journey at Holyhead on the afternoon of 31st August. This meant that we needed to cycle an extra 200 miles just to get to Brecon, before joining the 55 mile Tŷ Hafan event.

During our journey we crossed three mountain ranges and climbed almost 9500 feet. That’s more climbing than the Welsh 3 Peaks, but on a bike!
