The Vulcan To The Sky Club is organising the second sponsored Cycle ride, raising funds for the Vulcan To The Sky Trust operators of the worlds only flying Avro Vulcan XH558.

The ride will take place on the 2nd May 2015, starting from former BAE Woodford  and Avros manufacturing facility, crossing the Peak District and finishing at Hangar 3 Robin Hood Airport the home of Avro Vulcan XH558, we have a team of 10 Lee Gosling, Sean Bennett, Jenny Phillips, Adam Gaskin, Chris Taylor, David Wood, Rod Evans,Peter Tiplady, Angela Jones &Adam Sharples all amateur volunteer cyclists ready to take up the 101 mile challenge, some of the team have cycling experience, others have only just started riding and training hard to become fit enough to complete this epic challenge.

The Vulcan is operated by a charitable Trust the , Vulcan To The Sky Trust she is held in Trust for the nation, her "mission" is to inspire the next generation of aviation engineers through the Vulcans powerful displays and a dedicated education program.
