Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

You've got this far and it's only one more click to donate to this worthy cause.

Team Are We There Yet? are cycling the 25 mile route on the Essex Castles Cycle Ride.

We are raising funds on behalf of the Royal Association for Deaf people (RAD) whose work is vital to the Deaf community providing support from childhood through to employment and beyond.

There are around 41,000 Deaf children in England. Around 85% are taught in mainstream schools. Did you know that the average Deaf child leaves secondary school with a reading age of nine?

RAD still has a long way to go in raising awareness of what it is to be Deaf in today's society.

Sparing a pound or two for this great charity will really help raise awareness and vital funds.

It would also really encourage Kerry and Deaghlan (the least experienced riders) to get on their bikes and put up with the inevitable saddle sore........

Thanks again,

Kerry, Gary, Stu and Deaghlan
