The current news about the horrors of the earthquake in Haiti really shocked us - especially the reports of the staggering number of children who have become orphans.

It made us realise how fortunate we are to be able to wake up in our safe, loving homes every morning.

We know that fund-raising is tough at the moment but we really wanted to help, so, we came up with an idea which we hope will inspire our family and friends to sponsor us.

Dan wanted a physical challenge and Ben (being bike mad) wanted to cycle somewhere. Tom suggested we cycle a mile for each of 'our years' and so the Tonbridge Castle to Penshurst Bikeathon was conceived !

Our challenge is that Ben will cycle a minimum of 8 ½ miles, Tom will cycle a minimum of 9 ½ miles and Dan will have to cycle at least 12 miles........... we are hopeful our 30 miles will raise lots of money !!

£1000 will help WORLD VISION UK provide tents, desperately needed as temporary housing, with water and sanitation services.................the more we raise for WORLD VISION UK the more families we can help.
