Story
If you're a keen cyclist or a fan of the Tour de France you will probably have heard about the Etape du Tour. Every year the organisers of the Tour de France let a bunch of amateurs loose on one of the stages for that year.....and it's always a mountain stage so not easy.
As I am a keen cyclist and definitely amateur I have decided to take part. 170km over 4 big hills and one big mountain.
The fundraising....well my daughter had an operation last year at the Evelina Children's Hospital. They were fantastic throughout the whole process so to use an old cliche, I thought I could try and give something back. Even if a little.
So if you're impressed, indifferent or think I'm just mad please give a donation. Its a worthy cause.
P.S. if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
