We fund pioneering research to tackle bowel cancer.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In November of this year I am travelling to South Africa with the Bobby Moore Fund to help renovate a remote school, Noordhoek Primary.

I will be out there for 11 days carrying out tasks such as helping to build and enlarge classrooms and paving the outside area to improving the sports facilities and painting the school so plenty of hard work! We will also be playing football with the local kids.

The project has a dual aim - as well as leaving a lasting leagacy for the South African community the proceeds from the trip go to the Bobby Moore Fund to help tackle bowel cancer through world-class research.

44 people die everyday in the UK alone from bowel cancer - it is the second highest cause of cancer death after lung cancer but is 90% curable if caught early enough.

Please dig deep and sponsor me and support this fantastic cause.

Thanks and best wishes,

Dan

Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.
